OUR MINISTRIES

Here is a quick snap-shot of what goes on with Youth Ministry at Saint Eulalia Parish!

Service

Twice a month, youth ministry brings teenagers to two main service programs in the area.  One Saturday morning a month, we go to Saint Matthews Food Pantry to stock the shelves and distribute food.  One Sunday evening a month, we go to Cor Unum in Lawrence and serve a meal at their meal center.  Both give teens the opportunity to have a rewarding experience.

Sunday Night Teen Mass

Once a month on the second Sunday of each month, Youth Minstry hosts a special Mass geared toward the teenagers.  Everyone is welcome to join, and we encourage families to come especially.  Mass starts at 7:00 pm and we have a different priest presiding each month.  We hope to see you there!

Youth Social Events

One of the big draws to the youth ministry program is that we offer a wide range of social events that allow not just the youth of our parish to be involved, but their friends from the community as well.  This is true evangelization, and it allows all kids in the community to come to Saint Eulalia Parish have a fun time.

Music

The 5 p.m. mass has long been considered the "teen" mass.  This is in part due to the contemporary music stylings of Cheryl Pongratz and her music group.  Not only do they provide the music for the 5 p.m. mass each weekend, but they also provide their awesome talent for the Christmas and Easter productions put on by Saint Eulalia's Youth Ministry Group. Teens are welcome to join the group!

Service Trips

Each year the youth ministry program brings 100's of teenagers across the country (and sometimes outside of the country) to participate in service projects.  Two organizations most frequently utilized are Catholic Heart Workcamp and IsleGo Ministries.  Links below:
